So much happens in a decade

Here in Mystic Connecticut, Erica and I grew a business (Buzz Media Company), we expanded our family and celebrated our ten year anniversary this past fall. We have been lucky to travel to some of the world’s most beautiful locations to film weddings and are so grateful for the friends we’ve made.

For more than a decade, Erica was an Event and Marketing Director at one of New England’s most stunning wineries. Between the two of us, it is safe to say, we are seasoned in the art of celebrations. Her feminine perspective, keen eye and sense of style makes its way into everything we do.

The next chapter

In 2019, we launched Henry Loves Hazel - Wedding Films for Modern Couples. It is our new wedding website within Buzz Media Company. 

Whether an elegant New England mansion or vineyard, the simple charms of a mountain town in the Mediterranean or the exotic pastels at a Bahamian beachfront ceremony, we’re honored to have been a part of so many beautiful weddings.

We are looking forward to adventures with our new couples as Henry Loves Hazel.

Mike’s background

As Creative Director, Mike returned to Connecticut in 2005 to start Buzz Media Company after eleven years building his portfolio in Manhattan. He worked with some of best in the music and film business including Sony, Miramax, HBO and Nickelodeon.

Running BMC and now Henry Loves Hazel calls on his experience in the role of producer, engineer, shooter, editor, mixer, sound designer, copy writer, voice over guy, sandwich maker and cooler packer.

At home, he’s dad, husband, musician, junior taco chef, homework police, laundry tech and occasional lawn tractor mechanic.
